MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY POLICY

K.E.I. LLC   warrants each new K.E.I. product to be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service.    The warranty does not apply to loss of the vehicle or equipment, loss of time, towing, telephone, travel lodging, inconvenience, loss of revenues, or cost of a replacement rental vehicle.

K.E.I. shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages arising out of, or from the uses of K.E.I. products by the buyer, its assignees, employees, agents, or customers.

K.E.I. requires that only original K.E.I. parts be used on all repairs and request that the factory or an authorized   repair station be used for all repairs.

Defective or malfunctioning products must be delivered prepaid to an authorized repair station during regular business hours or shipped to the factory, prepaid, for Warranty consideration. K.E.I. reserves the right for special consideration. K.E.I. will pay regular ground freight charges for warranties covered and returned to customer. Customer is responsible for added cost of airfreight charges or any nonstandard shipping method.

Under no circumstances shall K.E.I.LLC be liable for any incidental or consequential damages for breach of this warranty

Warranty of K.E.I. products commences upon delivery of product to the customer. Delivery date and proof of purchase will be required. Warranty is limited to original owner of product. Warranty covers failure due to defects in material and workmanship for the following months/miles-whichever comes first.

Warranty Period Schedule

K.E.I. does not authorize any person to create for it any obligation or liability in connection with these products. This warranty provides specific legal rights, and there may also be other rights, which vary from state to state.  

K.E.I. or an authorized warranty repair station must verify any product that may be defective. K.E.I will not assume any liability to repair or replace any parts or units unless first verified defective. K.E.I. has the right to refuse any warranties if product was not used as intended.

Charging System Related Failures Not Covered By Warranty

Physical damage, corrosion, or any previous unauthorized repair or modification.

Bearing failure due to loose-belts or over -tight belt tensioners. (All pulleys must be returned with failed alternators to K.E.I. for evaluation)

Stripped or damaged threads, burned terminals, and obvious mishandling or improper installation.

 This warranty does not apply if, in the sole judgment  of K.E.I.LLC, the product has been damaged due to accident, improper installation, adjustment, wiring, neglect, misuse, or any application for which it was not designed or altered in any way so as to affect adversely its reliability and performance. Also excluded are parts subject to normal wear- i.e. Brushes.
